14 PAX gathered to honor fallen heroes on Memorial Day morning 2016.
BOM- started the day by stressing that F3 is never just a workout, and today that is truer than any other day. Today is about honoring the men and women who are the greatest example of Living Third. YHC read the biography of Lt. Michael P. Murphy and gave the details of his workout. We ended in a prayer.
- Mosey a little over a mile from Alexandria Oaks Park to Southside Park with OTC and the flag leading the way. Received lots of honks and waves, and one of Jacksonville’s finest even provided a U.S.A chant over his PA system
- Arrive at Southside Park and commence the Murph: 100 pull-ups, 200 merkins, 300 squats
- Mosey back to Alexandria Oaks Park
- T-claps: Big Bird, Farah&Farah, Heisenberg, and Toxic for powering through the Murph quickly; to OTC for wearing a 20 lbs vest; LIFO and Snuffy for a hard modify in place of running; and for Feud for ending Operation Key Locator; and to everyone for the respectful mumble-chatter and positive encouragement in honor of the day
BOM/COT- borrowing from our brothers in NC for Name-O-Rama each PAX gave the name and a short story of a person who gave all for their country.
