The Fluffy Duck is a test of strength, endurance, and teamwork and is a variation of the Augusta Georgia ROT, a convergence the 1st Friday of each month. On the BadLands straight away,4 cones are placed 1/10 mile apart from the starting cone. At each cone, 2-an teams complete a combined total of 10 burpees, 20 squats, and 30 merkins. The team that completes the most cones is declared the winner. Rules as follows:
1. At the first cone, each team member must complete an equal share. That is, 5 burpees, 10 squats, 15 merkins each. Thereafter, the team can take advantage of each member’s strengths and endurance level.
2. At the final whistle, a team may finish the exercises started at their last cone
“Pick your partner” teams were formed. The first run of Fluffy Duck in June, the Q formed teams based on age. Whistle was blown at the 15 minutes, 25 minute, and ending 30 minute mark
Congratulations to Aquaman and Air Bags whom equaled the record of 19 cones by Bada Bing and Dollar Bill. This equates to 1.9 miles of running, 190 burpees, 380 squats, and 570 merkins in 30 minutes.
Time did not permit the full Ab Fluffy Duck workout. The Pax completed 50 American Hammers OYO (25 per side) and 25 Flutter Kicks (IC).
At COT, Paul was named “Seven” in honor of the Seinfeld episode because there was no better name at the time. Prayer for strength given by the Q.
Thanks gentlemen for allowing me to lead today. 20 cones is the goal for Fluffy Duck III.
