Birthday Beatdown

26 men were ready to P-A-R-T-Y… they knew Badlands turned 2yrs old on July 13th, and they would not miss the festivities. They met at center field and were tested immediately—the dreaded Lindsay Lohan was their first challenge. Having been given party hats (and warned to keep them throughout the workout or face a 20 burpee penalty), they assumed a recumbent pose. In so doing, YHC reminded them of the following stats…

2 yrs equates to (assuming 3 workouts per week)…
156 workouts
7,800 minutes
8,000 burpees
15,000 merkins
30,000 LBCs

We’ve Spartaned, Terrain raced and mud run…

We’ve spent 105 hrs on Slack…encouraged one another in jobs lost…in weight lost…in children born… in parents/ family members who are no longer with us…

With 2 sparklers alit in my wife’s Panara muffin— we sang the happy birthday song in merkinstyle…

Inchwormies— (inchworm burpees) to 50 yrd line

Broad jump burpees back to baseline

Mosey to neighborhood across the street
Pair up. Each running in different direction around block. When meet: 50 MC/ 10 BBSU, run a lap, on the second meet up: 40MC/ 20BBSU. Continue for 5 laps total, ending in 10/ 50.
