No matter how fit you are or how much you post, Burpees still suck. There is no way to get ‘good’ at them with practice, you just man-up and get through. So pretty much they are still the go-to choice when you want to wear out the PAX. 11 PAX posted with trepidation after a warning by YHC that burpees waited. But no wheel-barrows today.

Corner to Corner-
Round 1: bear crawl from corner to corner: 35 lb military press x 20, jump squats x 20, American Hammer x 30, 15 burpees- plank until the 6 completes the circuit- than railroad track
Recovery- Mucho Chesto (50 total)
Round 2: crab-walk from corner to corner (thanks Feud): 35 lb front raise x 10, pickle pounders x 20, flutter kicks x 50, 15 burpees with 2 merkins- Al Gore until the 6 comes in

Round 3: duck walk facing the flag from corner to corner (thanks Farah): 35 lb squat press x 20, jump lunges x 20, Freddy Mercury x 30, 15 burpees with 3 merkins- hold at 6 unches until 6 comes in
The PAX had reached 55 burpees for the morning so we moseyed to the basketball court. The PAX knew what was coming to reach an even 100.
Ascending burpee suicides- 5, 10, 15, 15
COT/BOM- YHC focused on the 1st F and encouraged the PAX to sign up for events as a way to stay engaged and set and achieve goals; to give yourself something to train for. Also if you’re ignoring nutrition, you’re cheating yourself out of 60-70% of what makes up total fitness. Prayers for some ladies in the PAX lives- both friends and family- going through struggle.
