With no designated Q on the schedule, YHC volunteered to fill in with a seat-of-the-pants Q. The theme of the day: a Tour de Stairs of the Southbank’s multi-story structures, similar to a workout led by Big Bird a few months ago.
Warmup: Butt kicks, high knees, karaoke left/right, and lunges around the fountain
The Thang:
- Run from Friendship Fountain along riverwalk to DoubleTree hotel
- 5 rounds – sprint up and down both sets of stairs from riverwalk to pool deck + 5 burpees
- Run to the Stein
- 2 rounds – up and down stairwell (6 floors) + 30 flutter kicks at bottom
- Run to Baptist ER parking garage
- 2 rounds – up and down stairwell (6 floors) + 10 Groiners at bottom
- Run east on Prudential Dr. to Kings Ave, U-turn, right on Riverplace Blvd to return to FF
- Stop at pocket park for 25 Derkins OYO
- Return to FF
