It’s a “Burp”-day Celebration

10 PAX showed up in this crisp morning gloom at ANCHOR. It is a special weekend here in Jacksonville. There is a buzz in the air as River City is hosting the Navy/Notre Dame football game, the Blue Angels are flying high at the beach, and it is YHC’s birthday. As a result, it was most fitting to celebrate by leading the men in a little “Burp”-day beatdown and giving back to all those who have given to me.

• BOPO (One-legged burpee, plank jack, One-legged burpee other leg) x10

Parade of Animal Suicides: (For LIFO who likes animals and Eileen who likes suicides)

• Inchworm to 1^st cone and back- followed by flutter kicks x25
• Duck Walk to 2^nd cone and back- followed by Freddie Mercury x 25
• Bear Crawl to 3^rd cone and back- followed by Crunchy Frogs x25
• Crab Walk to 4^th cone and back- followed by Hello Dolly x 25

Bearpees- wait for the six after each lap

• 4 bear crawl steps – 1 burpee, continue to last cone
• 4 bear crawl steps – 2 burpee, back to first cone
• 4 bear crawl steps – 3 burpee, to last cone
• 4 bear crawl steps – 4 burpee, back to first cone

Due to work, school, church and family life being ramped up these last couple of months, YHC has been unable to be as active with the PAX as previous or as desired. I felt a call to Q on my birthday as a “thank you” for all who have contributed to building me up- a way to give back. Despite the business of life, YHC can still rely on the JAX PAX to post at ANTHILL, BOHICA, and ANCHOR and help each other become better men, no matter our current situation in life. I post so I can do the same.
