- When: 05/09/17
- QIC: Feud
- The PAX: Dr. Okie, Snuffaluofakus (respect), Synapse (respect), Bowser (respect), PUD, LIFO, SOC, Pyro, Drone, the Bus, Gecko, Jumani, Big Bird, Biiiiing, Heisenberg, Disco, Fife, Seatdown, Feud
The smoke cleared briefly and 19 PAX appeared in the gloom for this morning’s beat-down. YHC brought the geekdom down on the PAX as he did not feel that the greatest sci-fi holiday of the year was well appreciated last week (May the 4th for those not in the know). So in order to educate the PAX, YHC enrolled all into the Sith Academy.

The Thang
The path to the dark side begins with Fear. When I first started F3, I was always fearful that a run would be involved in the beat down, so…
- Run large lap around park and library – 10 jump ups at benches
- Repeat
- Fast runners plank and makhtar n’diayes waiting for the six
At the Sith Academy, Fear leads to Anger. I used to get angry (not really, but it works for this morning’s theme) when the Q followed a run exercise with a run exercise. Next exercise:
- The Quarter Pounder: Pax sprints forward, performs exercise, then runs backwards to start
- 25 yds- 25 merkins
- 50 yds- 50 squats
- 75 yds- 75 mountain climbers
- 100 yds- 100 SSH
As everyone knows, Anger leads to Hate, and one exercise I hate (again, not really) are pull-ups.The hate this morning could have been directed toward YHC for the complicated instructions:
- Assending Deconstruction Burp-2-ups- 1:1:2 ration of merkin:groiner:pull-up up 5:5:10 count
Run back to the field for a little Suffering
- Burpees x 10 for late arrival #2
- Bear Crawl “Mucho-chesto-far” Ring of Fire
- Werkins x10
- Merkins x 10
- Diamond Merkins x10
- Staggered Left Merkins x10
- Staggered Right Merkins x10
- Burpees x 10 for late arrival #3
COT
“Whoever works the most, will get the next generation”. The world is a crazy place right now. The next generation, our children, is exposed to a lot of evil in the world. Have we prepared them to face it? Have we prepared them to remain strong in the faith, to believe in truth or in something? Or are we letting others be the influence in their lives. If we don’t believe in something, we will fall for anything. Have we taught our children to engage in discussion, and not violence, when facing those whose beliefs are contrary to their own? Are we demonstrating and teaching respect?
