Today’s workout, the day and our lives are here because of those who served so that we can live. May we all remember them and reward their sacrifices by living better and giving our best efforts to make the world better than when they left us!

THE THANG
The Murph
Lt. Michael Murphy – far right and everyone else in this picture with the exception of Luttrell (third from right) gave the ultimate sacrifice in Afghanistan during Operation Redwing on June 28, 2005 (exactly 13 years and one month ago from today). The workout is in memory of Murphy. However, and taking absolutely nothing away from Murphy, this picture illustrates how many sacrifice who aren’t honored as much or at all. Please keep them in mind as well (Matt Axelson, Dan Healy, James Suh, Marcus Luttrell (survived), Eric Patton, Michael Murphy). The particular operation on the day Murphy died, only had four total SEALS v. 50+ enemies. Only Axelson, Murphy, Luttrell and a fourth not pictured here Danny Dietz v. 50+ and these four took out more than 35.
Let us have at least half the effort and resolve as our fallen heroes…
1 mile run
100 pull ups
200 push ups
300 squats
1 mile run
Then…to the field
25 weighted thrusters
suicides down length of field
50x LBCs –
rinse and repeat
back to circle for small PT work
COT
Name FNGs – Welcome Floppy Disk and 50 Cent.
