YHC awoke to less than full energy and a shoulder that gets worse instead of better.  Quickly overcame such miniscule obstacles and negative thinking by doing what I knows hows to dos…put one foot in front of the other!  Each step is a small victory!  But, since the sun was just poking up, YHC went to the beach with a coffee to watch the sunrise and salute the brothers who are dippin rods (Slash; Squeege most likely, etc.).  Coffee salute and quick thought for a safe day on the sea.

Upon arrival, quite the crowd gathered for what was promised to be a beat-down by YHC.  A couple PAX nudged YHC to make it difficult.  So…I tried.

We are better than we were yesterday.  Welcome Rusty you crushed it today!  Quick reminder to the PAX not to get a big head and that we are nothing special and that we are a hand in a bucket of water (didn’t read the poem but here you go..The Indispensable Man).

Sometime when you’re feeling important;
Sometime when your ego ‘s in bloom;
Sometime when you take it for granted,
You’re the best qualified in the room:
Sometime when you feel that your going,
Would leave an unfillable hole,
Just follow these simple instructions,
And see how they humble your soul.

Take a bucket and fill it with water,
Put your hand in it up to the wrist,
Pull it out and the hole that’s remaining,
Is a measure of how much you’ll be missed.
You can splash all you wish when you enter,
You may stir up the water galore,
But stop, and you’ll find that in no time,
It looks quite the same as before.

The moral of this quaint example,

Is to do just the best that you can,
Be proud of yourself but remember,
There’s no indispensable man.

Thoughts/prayers led by McD.

Enjoy the weekend men!

Coffeeteria….where Pickle showed the PAX that early onset diabetes is heading his way (copious amount of sugar intake)!
