Own Every Rep

YHC got off to a great start this am as he showed up to Davis Park with two right handed gloves. But I shook off that devastating event, and I believe fun was had by all. Well maybe not after the convergence, beep test, and Seinfelds broga beat down. 17 men showed up to participate in my 2nd Q. My theme of the day was Ownership. When I started this journey to get healthier I found myself not pushing as hard as I could. I would take reps off, or cheat. I decided if I wanted to hit my goals then I would have to push harder. So I decided to own every rep I did. I started seeing better results and noticed that it bled over into my work life, and more importantly my spiritual and family life. I found myself working harder, being more thorough, and overall being a better man. Own every rep!

Warm-Up:

The Thang:

Mosey to the first parking lot, mixing in some butt kicks and karaokes.

Parking Lot suicides:
Island 1-75% AYG, 10 Merkins at island, 20 LBC back at line.
Island 2-50% AYG, 15 Merkins, 25 LBCs
Island 3-25% AYG, 20 Merkins, 30 LBCs

Mosey to the football field

We completed a round of 11’s with Merkins and Squats. Starting with 10 merkins and 1 squat, we ran sideline to sideline until we did 10 squats and 1 merkin.

Mosey back to first parking lot

Parking Lot suicides part 2: (Since AYG was blurry at this point it was DYB- do your best)
Island 1- 5 burpees, 10 prisoner squats
Island 2- 5 burpees, 10 prisoner squats
Island 3- 5 burpees, 10 prisoner squats

We closed with some bear crawls, lunges, bicycles, leg flutters, and well earned Lindsay Lohan.
