YHC arrived to the Badlands in a somber mood on the 17th anniversary of the September 11th attacks.  Behind the stats are lives and stories of heroism in the face of great danger and adversity.  2996 died that day including more than 400 officers and law enforcement.  Over 6000 injured, many permanently.   YHC asked the following questions: In a moment of crisis, would we run to the crisis to provide assistance or run from it, and where do we find our support?

Warm-O-Rama: 11 Michael Phelps, Little Baby Arm Circles forward/backward, hillbillies, limp member (OYO), reacher, and mountain climbers

THANG:

(1) Fastholes ran 3.3. miles with Indian runs over the bridge.  50 LBCs at the flagpole.

(2) Clydesdales (led by Skim) ran 2.9 miles with suicides on the bridge.

COT:  Discussions about expanding F2 gatherings.

YHC restated the questions of the day:  In a moment of crisis, would we run to the crisis to provide assistance or run from it, and where do we find our support?  Our support is found in each other, in our families, communities and faith.  Psalm 23 sustained many of us on 9/11.  23:4 encourages us today.  “Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they confront me.”  Prayers for Seinfeld, victims still suffering from 9/11, and protection from Florence.
