9 Pax cheerfully (not so much…) greeted the Davis Park gloom with laser- focused intentions (not so much…) of crushing another 3+ mile Badlands Run Day (not so much…). Well… we showed, we ran, and here’s what went down…

Off we went, as a fearsome squad, through the dark streets of 20 mile. Total distance was 3.87 miles for 41 minutes, though we did stop for a few ‘surprises’ along the way (merkins, dips, more merkins, and leg lifts). The highlight of our adventure was watching Wahoo very nearly lose his Wahini as we traversed a wet and difficult to climb 8 ft fence…
BOM– I asked the men if they were thermostats or thermometers in their home? Did they actively set the proper ‘temperature’ (tone, pace, focus) at home, as a thermostat would, or did they sit back and simply reflect the leadership and directions of others (as a thermometer simply measures but doesn’t impact the temperature)? LET’S ALL BE THERMOSTATS!
