10 PAX of F3 Jacksonville posting in the gloom at Boondocks to pay tribute to one of the greatest accomplishments of the US space program- man’s landing and walking on the moon. 50 years ago, today, Neil Armstrong and Edwin “Buzz” Aldrin landed and emerged from the “Eagle” at Tranquility Base to become the first men to walk on the moon. For this morning’s beatdown, the Jax Pax paid tribute the only way we F3’ers know how: by turning the Moon Walk at Boondocks into a beatdown…

Naked Man Moleskin
Brutal one in the gloom. Pax began debating whether YHC liked or hated the Apollo 11 mission. Others reminded the Q that Lindsay Lohans starts with an “L” during the MOON WALKers.
COT
“The single observation I would offer for your consideration is that some things are beyond your control. You can lose your health to illness or accident. You can lose your wealth to all manner of unpredictable sources. What are not easily stolen from you without your cooperation are your principles and your values. They are your most important possessions and, if carefully selected and nurtured, will well serve you and your fellow man.”
― Neil Armstrong
YHC forgot to bring this quote to the gloom, however, he talked about it. One of F3’s mantra’s is “To leave no man behind, and to leave no man where you found him.” By keeping true to our principles and values, we will be better prepared to serve others. Next pax member to tell me (at a beatdown) the name of the man who stayed on the lunar orbiter and did not land or walk on the moon during the Apollo 11 mission will get a free coffee at the coffeeteria from YHC. We come to beatdowns to not just get in shape, but to encourage and help better the man to our left and to our right. It was my pleasure to lead you men today.
