9 PAX of F3 Jacksonville dodged a wave of soccer mom mini-vans in order to post in the gloom at Boondocks. YHC is a little disappointed at the number of Jacksonville PAX who have registered for the Iron Pax Challenge, so he thought he would give them a little taste of the action.  Little did he know that this may not have been the best strategy…

The Thang

YHC introduced the concept of the IPC to the PAX and talked about last year’s participants and how this competition has exploded in F3 Nation.  He encouraged all to register and notified them that this would be a sample of what to expect.  Here is a repeat of Week 3 of IPC 2018:

AMRAP in 38 minutes (originally 30 min, but time was added for this 60-minute beatdown- such a crowd pleaser)

  • 15 block jump burpees
    • 50 hand release merkins
    • 10 broad jumps out
    • 10 broad jumps back
  • 14 block jump burpees
    • 50 goblet squats
    • 10 broad jumps out
    • 10 broad jumps back
  • 13 block jump burpees
    • 50 leg raises holding block overhead (bench press style)
    • 10 broad jumps out
    • 10 broad jumps back
  • Rinse and repeat, reducing burpees by 1 each set

COP #2

  • Quad stretches
  • Standing hamstring stretches
  • Triceps stretches
  • Posterior shoulder stretches
  • Michael Phelps x10 OYO

There was an eclectic collection of coupons today.  YHC will need to work on getting the Boondocks Pax to carry a block in their cars.  Never know when you might need one.

YHC again made a pitch for the IPC 2019 and for more Pax of Jax to register and participate.  At last count there were 11 PAX from F3 Jacksonville registered, would be great to see more.  The first link below will lead you to register, the second is the pre-blast for the IPC.  Take a look. While this is a competition, its more about participation.  Being part of F3 Nation is more about your brothers than it is about you.
