The Thang:
Theme/word for the workout was “URGENT”. What needs to be urgent in your life right now? During this period of “shutdown” are you also shutting down by becoming complacent, or emotionally lazy with your spouse or kids? What do you need God to do? How can the PAX help? Who in your life need you to be urgent in sharing your faith with them so they can know and trust in God? Make sure you are “upshifting” not “downshifting” especially during this COVID time.
Mosey to football field for the U in Urgent: Up/Downs (channeling our glory days of high school football) 2 rounds 1 min. each
Mosey to second parking lot for the R in Urgent: Relays. Partner up (social distancing of course) and Lap 1 – 100 Merkins, Lap 2 – 200 squats, Lap 3 – 300 LBC’s Lap 4 – 400 SSH (which we modified half way through to 200)
The G in Urgent: Guantanamo – 2 rounds
The E in Urgent: Elevens – starting with 1 burpee and then 10 merkins, then on and on and on
The N in Urgent: Never cross Dolly – Hello Dolly while in a slight incline position so that only your six is touching the ground x20 OYO
The T in Urgent: Twinkle toes – Al Gore position while doing calf raises x 20 IC
COT: Make sure you are upshifting and identify what needs to be urgent in your life right now.
