7 Pax braved the Fruit Cove gloomidity to relive the 2019 IPC Week 4 Beatdown, “Sugar’s Pick Your Poison”.  Still Sucked. This workout adds a mental twist because the Pax get some choice in how they’re going to get through it. But however you slice it, your quads aren’t going to escape.

After a few SSH’s and stretches for a warm up, we carried our Coupons over to the turf field goal line.

3 Rounds, for time, of:

100 total of Merkins/Squats. Pax chooses how many of each, as long as the total adds up to 100.

200 yd. Coupon Carry

100 total of Kettlebell Swings/Bonnie Blairs (count each leg)

200 yd. Coupon Carry

100 total of Squat Thrusters/Lunge Steps (count each leg)

200 yd. Coupon Carry

That last set burned! All told, it was 900 movements and 1800 yds (that’s a mile+) of Coupon carries. It hurt, but we all finished in around 40 minutes.  We’re better for it, and confident we can take on the challenges that come our way with the 2020 IPC.
