YHC was greeted in the ridiculously humid gloom of Goodlands by 16 PAX ready to take on the challenge of IPC week “0”. We launched at the turf soccer field which was pitch black, with the exception of YHC’s camping light and the grounds crew had clearly added extra rubber pellets for the PAX overnight!
After a brief warmup consisting of SSH, Hillbillies, LBAC forward and backward, Michael Phelps, Reacher and a 400 meter test lap we reviewed the instructions and commenced on the challenge.
4 Rounds for time of the following exercises:
50 Air Squats
40 Big Boi Situps
20 Bonnie Blairs
400 Meter Run
The PAX got after it and still had plenty left in the tank for some great mumble chatter as we suffered together. The burpee, 400 meter run combo was tough to catch your breath but the Bonnie Blairs were painful for all!
Awesome job!! Lowest time was 19:44 Left Turn and highest was Wasted with 27:52. All of the PAX under the nation 31:03 average! Everyone supported each other and guarantee we had better times for it!
Big thanks to Hat Trick (out with a hip injury) for coming out to cheer us on and bringing water to support the team! Thanks to Left Turn for the cool down stretch and to Wasted for helping me get us set up.
We closed with announcements of the next IPC week 1, Travis Manion Hero Run/Ruck and Hat Trick virtual Boston Marathon CSAUP coming up on the 12th. F2 this Thursday at The Really Good Beer Stop 530pm.
