Twas the morning of the night before Christmas and the downtown Pax were ready to celebrate a 2020 Christmas. YHC was as giddy as a Spider Monkey since there would be no cindy’s. Pud may have been disappointed. But cyborgs usually are. Gekko was absent, which was heartbreaking since YHC originally planned a beatdown in his honor. Next time. (found out later that his 2.0 took him on an epic garage beatdown. Serves him right.)
Disclaimers, all that jazz.
YHC hinted a some Pearls on a String action and by Gumby that’s what we’re going to do! So some Christmas music started and off we went.
My beloved readers of F3, YHC can’t recall every exercise that was done, however each stop started with and ended with 3 burpees. A burpee biscuit if you will.
What was truly wonderful was that most of the PAX contributed to the beatdown, with their favorite and least favorite exercises,. Bernie for example….why he suggested 10 burpees. And Heisenberg! Bulgarian split squats. Boy Howdy…..
We traversed down the streets of San Marco, with some good and some bad Christmas tunes. We found an ally and wouldn’t you know it, right during the middle of our beatdown, a window opened and McScrooge said the festive music woke him up. OOPS. So around the corner we traipsed and got in some Balls to the Wall action. Thanks Pud.
We ended up at the San Marco Square for more things that really should be remembered, but aren’t. What was remembered was that at the church stairs, Pax had some weak ass suggestions until the return trip when Pud (of course) suggested ascending and descending merkin ladders. Crowd pleaser.
The best song of the morning in YHC opinion was in the parking lot of the Bold Bean, Jingle Farts. Look it up on Spotify. You’ll be glad you did.
The Pax ended up where they started, in the parking lot where 4 rounds of circle burp’s were had. A fun time was had by all. And YHC was thrilled to see one of the pax splashing merlot. A CHRISTMAS MIRACLE.
Prayers for Bing and family, Jim and Wendy, friends of Xenu. Wendy’s battle with Covid . Prayers for those alone this season.
“You are where you are today because you stand on somebody’s shoulders. And wherever you are heading…you cannot get there by yourself. If you stand on the shoulders of others, you have a reciprocal responsiblity to live your life so that others may stand on your shoulders. It’s the quid pro quo of life. We exist temporarily through what we take, but we live forever through what we give.” Vernon Jordan
