6 Fleming Island Pax posting in the gloom of Asgard despite the threat of rain on the radar and in the sky. With the news of a Kotter and an FNG posting on this glorious Saturday morning, YHC was a little stoked about Q-ing. It’s been awhile since we’ve used the field for an entire beatdown. With a couple of dry days in the area, YHC knew the it would be mostly dry, so to the field we went…
- SSH x20 IC
- Don Quixote x10 IC
- Imperial Walkers x10 IC
- Toy Soldier x12 IC
- Reach through x10 IC
- LBAC forward/backwards/Moroccan night club x20 IC
- Squats x10 IC
- Merkins x10 IC
Most of the pax posting were present as YHC had some field prep to complete. YHC impressed the pax with a straight line of 6 cones (helps to have a lacrosse field lines already marked). They didn’t seem too thrilled at the 120-yard gap between the first and last cone.
The Beast: 6 reps of 6 exercises for 6 sets. Pax traverse to each cone as directed by the Q, and perform 6 reps of an exercise. There were 6 cones, 20-yards apart. Exercises/method of travel were as followed:
- Diamond merkins/Run
- Sumo squats/Lunges
- V-ups/Karaoke left
- Jumping Spiders/Karaoke right
- Bonnie Blairs/Backwards run
Following the Beast, and much to the PAX delight, there was time for a little girl who wanted to thank us for vanquishing the Beast. Her name was DORA.
DORA 1-2-3: Partner up. PAX 1 runs 100-yards (5th cone) and back while PAX 2 begins exercises, then flap jack. Total combined reps as follows:
- Merkins x100
- LBCs x200
- Squats x300
After praising the pax for their efficiency of completing Dora 1-2-3, YHC informed them that there were still 10 minutes left. Wanting to ensure the pax got their money’s worth, we finished off with….
- Suicide monkey humpers- 5, 10, 15, 20 reps
- Suicide BBSU- 5, 10, 15, 20 reps
YHC spoke heading to the Farm launch this morning following Asgard. It is quite an honor and privilege to be able to bring F3 to men in the last phases of the Trinity Rescue Mission long term program, in hopes that what F3 has to offer, will help them become contributing members of society. As it’s been said before, we are made to lead; whether it be in our homes, our work, our church or our community. God intended us to be the best version of ourselves, and to lead where we are planted.
- Continued prayers for Talen and his family
- My cousin Jay (brother and twin of my cousin Ray who passed away) who is in the hospital
- Continued prayers for our country, specifically for unity and safe return to normalcy amid COVID
- Lord’s Prayer
Thank you men, for allowing me to lead.
