Do Not Be Content, but Maintain a Margin of Safety
Warm-up (stretches for running)
It was a beautiful morning for 12 PAX to run (10) or bike (2) the bridge and back to Badlands.
Included in the 12 was an FNG introduced by Thumper. Welcome, “Motorboat”!
Never be content, however, always maintain a ‘margin of safety’ even when things are going well.
Author James Clear:
“Maintain a margin of safety—even when it’s going well.
Rich people go bankrupt chasing even more wealth.
Fit people get injured chasing personal records.
Productive people become ineffective taking on too many projects.
Don’t let your ambition ruin your position.”
