With the threat of 100 burpees hanging over their heads if they didn’t bring in articles of winter clothing to donate to Trinity Rescue Mission, the HN pax responded BIG TIME. In particular, Valdez (who mysteriously appeared during the COT), D-Day, Prunetang and Check Please really emptied the closets to give to TRM. Mission accomplished! Bravo, gentlemen!
Onto the workout…
Warm-up, then a mosey over to the parking lot at Splash Water Park, which featured various implements of fun. This was a Frankensteined version of Dora, stations, AMRAPs that Gizzard dubbed (out of affection, no doubt) the “damrap.” Partner up! Three minutes of work per station, then 15 seconds to rest and rotate to the next station.
Station 1: Slam Ball. P1 bear crawls to first island, runs back, while P2 works the slam ball.
Station 2: Battle Rope. P1 broad jumps to first island, runs back, while P2 works the battle rope.
Station 3: Plank. P1 runs to second island, runs back, while P2 planks.
Station 4: Squat Thrust. P1 lunge walks to first island, runs back, while P2 does squat thrusts with the block.
Station 5: Rapid SSH’s. P1 bear crawls to first island, runs back, while P2 does rapid SSH’s.
Station 6: Overhead press. P1 runs to second island and runs back. P2 does overhead presses with the bar.
Station 7: Dip bars. P1 runs to second island and runs back, while P2 does dips.
Station 8: LBCs. P1 tiptoe walks to first island, runs back, while P2 does LBCs.
Station 9: Scaptions. P1 broad jumps to first island, runs back, while P2 does scaptions w/ bricks.
Station 10: Mountain Climbers: P1 bear crawls to first island, runs back, while P2 does mountain climbers.
COT / BOM
Announcements included the end of month van cleaning at K9s for Warriors; encouragement for guys to step up and lead workouts, the upcoming Chad 1000 CSAUP (see the channel for details), and encouragement to come out to the workouts (and more importantly, the COT) at the Farm. Closed with a prayer and the pledge. So wonderful to see all the clothing for the mission, thank you guys, and thanks CP for getting it down there!
