FESTIVUS beatdown – Effective Organizations are built through relationships and principles, not rules

Disclaimer:
Wasted welcomed 14 high impact men (gizzard, tackleberry, moon man, Saigon Sam, 3-Peat, bada bing, yard sale, deuce, mervin, sous, Ozark, focker, left turn, zamboni)  to F3, a free, volunteer peer-led workout.  Not being a professional, I had no knowledge of any injuries
or fitness levels, so it was each individual’s responsibility to please exercise safe and modify as necessary to avoid injury.   F3 stands for Fitness, Fellowship and Faith.

– The more in-effective the org, the larger the rule book
– F3 has 5 core principles – Free, Open to all Men, Held Outdoors, Peer-Led (Sua Sponte Leaders), end with
COT
– F3 chooses the lizard to represent the org to remain, light, fast, agile ready to take action to further our
purpose.
– The deeper the relationships, the more effective the org

• Merkins
• Hill Billies

The Thang:
Partner Teams of 2 (pair up with someone you don’t know well, and get to know him)
Partner Teams of 2: AMRAP, while 1 partner bear crawls the flag square, other partner uses block:
– (2 rounds) a) Thrusters; b) Kettlebells
Partner Teams of 2: AMRAP while 1 partner runs steps, other partner uses block:
– (2 rounds) a) Burpees; b) Goblet Squats
Partner Teams of 2: AMRAP while 1 partner Side Straddle Hops, other partner uses block:
– (2 Rounds) a) Man-makers; b) Squat Jumps
– Added addition 2nd Round as time allowed…
– Ended with 5 mins – abs / mtn climbers /50 ssh’s

– Effective Organizations are built through relationships and principles, not rules
– An Effective Organization is a mass of Dynamic Teams led by Sua Sponte Leaders
– The Virtuous Leader stays 43 Feet ahead of his Organization’s Movement
