- The PAX: Bartles & Jaymes, Animal, Big Bird, Roddy, Drumstick, Gadot, Crush, Third Eye, Mello, Sasquatch, Woodshed
We did it! One goal set by the Asgardians for 2022 was to have 12 pax post on a Saturday beatdown. We started the COP with 10 which grew to 11 right before we began the Thang. Then with time to plenty of time on the clock, we hit 12 with the sight of Drumstick who got off work early enough to help us finish strong! So how did we get there? May have been the Q’s tease about bringing both your ruck and Cindy… wait, what?

The Thang
YHC had many ideas for a beatdown, and it mushroomed to this. He knew some pax were HC or contemplating upcoming events such as Sandlot Jax and the Gate River Run, and wanted to “help” them prepare. What a guy. He also thought since some pax could not participate in the Kraken, he would bring the Kraken to the pax. Oh, he also wanted to infuse a little F2 into the beatdown. It was as if YHC was channeling his inner-Jumanji. Sprinkle in a little of Pud and Big Bird influence and you end of with a CSIFH event: “Crazy ‘Stuff’ in Feud’s Head”

BOM/COT
YHC talked about the “Fire of Friendship” that Pyro has posted on Slack (under the General channel on 2/25 if you haven’t read it yet). The basic premise is that we are not supposed to be alone. Life is hard enough, why try to tackle it by yourself. If you are in need, reach out. If you are not in need, reach out, someone else, one of your brothers is in need. Be that friend. We need each other to help us when we are down.
YHC also challenged the pax to reach out to a man who has tried out Asgard and has not been back. Call or text him, let him know we enjoyed his time with us and would like to see him again. He encouraged all to continue EH’ing those sad clowns.
