9 HIM met at Bandlands for a wonderfully gloomy Monday morning beatdown. The message today was simple. Stronger Together, Better Together. I recently was encouraged by a fellow F3 brother to extend a run when I was ready to call it. We modified the run and I was able to double my mileage that day. F3 works because the men of F3 actually care about helping each of us reach our goals, continue to improve, and benefit from getting a little better every day.
Warm-up was short. LM OYO, DD OYO, PP OYO, Plank, The Hillbilly-IC, LBACF-IC, LBACB-IC, SSH, Mosey big lap.
The Thang – Cindy called to me on Sunday and we answered the call.
3 rounds, 3 sets of each round. Each set is followed by a lot lap.
Round 1 – 5 Manmakers, 10 Squat Thrusters, 15 Curlz for the girlz, 20 bench press. Air Chair for the 6 lap together.
Round 2 – 10 Gravediggers, 15 Block Swings, 20 Single armed bent-over rows (10 each arm), 25 Merkins on the block
Round 3 – 15 Blockjumps, 20 BBSU with the block, 25 2-armed bent-over rows, 30 Step-ups (15 each foot)
COR, NOR, Announcements, Prayer Requests, Keep Wasted’s family in your prayers as they mourn Uncle Chuck. It sounds like he was definitely a HIM that loved to change the lives of others. Keep Narco’s FIL Greg in your prayers as they are in the early stages of a cancer diagnosis. Prayers for Sue, Pruntangs good friend that lost his M suddenly. I was moved to ask about answered prayers, Full Monty, Congrats on the new chaplain position, Baywatch it was awesome to hear you got the captains you needed for Cast for Kids, Many other stories of great things happening in people’s lives.
