19 PAX, back in the morning light at Hard Nocs, including Yuke down range from Boston (we didn’t hold it against him). The day kicked off with a salute to fellow PAX Left Turn (absent for well-deserved recovery) for his inspiring performance in the Iron Man over the weekend. Giving it your all for darn near 10 hours is quite a feat. Our society today seems to be intolerant of discomfort, for even just a few minutes. However, it is good for our minds and bodies to know what it is like to be uncomfortable, to understand it, and learn to embrace it. To get comfortable being uncomfortable. 19 men didn’t get out of bed for an early morning beatdown because they want to be comfortable. QIC did his best to make sure of this.

Mosey to the parking lot. 1 suicide spring running to each island (4 in total) and back. Next was a bear crawl merkin to the first island, run to the 2nd island, Travelling Burpee to the 3rd island, run to the 4th island and circle back around to the start.
Mosey back to the flag for Deconstructed Burpees: 10 squats, 10 groiners, 10 merkins, 10 groiners, jump up, stair lap. 9 squats, 9 groiners, 9 merkins, 9 groiners, jump up, stair lap, descending down to 1 rep.
Closed things out with War Hammers for about 7 minutes or until exhaustion. Then a surprise shower for the QIC and some burpees round the circle.
