I celebrated my 4-year F3 JAX anniversary with 9 other PAX this morning. We began the day with a warmup, then worked our way to the turf football field with exercises along the way, including SSH, Michael Phelps, The Reacher, Merkins, Flutterkicks, Hello Dollies, LBCs, Limp Member, Plank, Air Chair, Bear Crawls, Lunges, Incline Merkins, Decline Merkins, Step-ups and more.
Once to the turf field, we paid homage to Bada Bing who Q’d my first-ever F3 JAX workout on a cold, 37-degree morning on this day in 2018, by using light-up soccer balls and a football, as well as lit cones, to play various games that resulted in a lot of Burpees. (We enjoyed 57-degrees this morning.)
The soccer and football theme was also a nod to the ongoing World Cup (Go Team USA) and football season being in full swing (Victory Monday for the Jags).
We eventually worked our way back to the flagpole, but not before more games along the way, including a brief stop on the grass football field.
Three of us were also here four years ago when I was a wide-eyed FNG on that cold November day: Full Monty, Outhouse, Terminator.
F3 is a game-changer. Be consistent. I am thankful my brother (Cookie) introduced it to me two weeks earlier that year in Georgia, and also joined me at Badlands that day. SYITG.
