4 HIM joined the QIC on a chilly post Super Bowl Monday at 5:30 am. Why…..Consistency. Life, Goals, Dreams, Fitness, Recovery, Family, Growth, all of these things aren’t possible without consistency. Consistency doesn’t mean you will perform your best every time you take the field, host a meeting, deal with a situation at home, etc. It just means that no matter the outcome the next day you get right back at it. You fix, learn, adjust, modify the things that didn’t go well. You lean in and double down on the things that went right. I personally took almost 40 years to figure that out and only now feel like I am at least scratching the surface. Growth is always available. Just be consistent with your efforts.
Warmup – LMOYO, Michael Phelps IC, Block Toe Taps, Carolina Dry Dock, Windshield Wipers over the block, The hillbilly, SSH, Mosey short lap.
The Thang – 50% block work, 50% Calisthenics
Up 5 Down 5 – Started with 5 Curlz for the Girlz, 5 Inclined Merkins IC, 5 Bench Press, 5 Sumo Squat IC, 5 OHP with the block small lap, Then repeat with 10 reps, then repeat with 15 reps, then repeat with 20 reps, then repeat with 15 reps, then repeat with 10 reps, then repeat with 5 reps. Time allowed us to get in a little EC. We did Flutter kicks holding the block IC, then Hello Dolly holding the block IC, then LBC w/out the block IC, then 10 BBSU without the block OYO. Finished up with a good round of stretches.
