Even thought PUD slept in and we therefore did not have the buckets we planned to use… we scrapped together a few heavy things and headed to the Stein for some hard work.
PAX: Bernie, Bowzer, Gecko, Lego, Whiff, Groundspeed
Grab a few sand bags and rucks and mosey to the Stein parking garage –> stairs to the second floor –> drop the weights and do tempo merkins until the guy that was parking his car finally walked away –> jog up to the top of the 5th floor and back down
First: Pair up –> Partner1 grabs a weight and runs up and back down one level of ramps while Partner2 does AMRAP merkins –> switch –> Partner1 grabs a weight and runs up and down two levels of ramps while Partner2 does AMRAP flutter kicks –> switch –> Partner1 grabs a weight and runs up and down 3 levels of ramps while Partner2 holds a high plank –> switch (running the ramps wasn’t brutal but it definitely got your heartrate up, especially as you pushed it, knowing that your partner was struggling and waiting…. those were long planks) –> 10 burpees for the late start (it was undecided if it was PUD’s fault for not showing or Bowzer’s because he had to get an extra ruck out to share; definitely not YHQ’s fault) –> 10 more burpees for the train
Next: Each PAX grab a weight, hold it in front, and can’t use any straps –> Run up a level –> Airchair with weight for 6 –> 10 weighted squats –> run up another level and repeat until all PAX are at the top –> 10 count –> indian run back to the flag (Whiff, as always, led us into oncoming traffic)
Last: Crunchy Frogs, Supermans, Hallow Holds
COT: Announcements: Pearl Jam launches on 4/1, SeatDown’s solo this week
