YHC pulled himself out of bed this morning and drove what seemed like forever to get to Asgard…about 100 yards or so.  Exhausting.  I digress.  Cindy was in tow and start time was prompt at 5 am. No FNGs so the group got to work at the whistle.


The usual stuff, in cadence of course.  Let’s see…SSH, Don Quixote, reachers, arm circles, Moroccan nightclubs, chinooks, and the Goofball.

The Thang

5 rounds- Add 5 reps to each exercise on the following round in addition to adding 1 more lap to run with each round.


5 Burpees

10 Squat Thrusters

15 step ups with Cindy on bench

20 merkins

25 curls for the girls

30 bench dips

*run 1 lap.

nobody finished all 5 rounds but all worked tirelessly until time called.


Today’s Q source topic was on Prayer, which Roddy led us in discussion after the beatdown.  YHC spoke about taking 5 minutes out of the day to reflect, meditate, pray, etc. to help ease tension, stress, anxiety, and fears that weighs on us as we navigate this thing called life.  Forever grateful to have HIMs in my life, I spoke of much of an impact they’ve had on my 3rd F
