F3 Jacksonville Celebrates 8 Years!

  • The PAX: 74 pax (sorry, missed out on Name-O-Rama as YHC was attending to an FNG that was experiencing what many of the rest of the pax on their first beatdown) including 5 FNGs (Icy Hot, Catwalk, Lorax, Oxy, Bagadonuts, and Six-Shooter).


74 pax from the AOs out of F3 First Coast and F3 River City converged at Boondocks to celebrate the 8th Anniversary of the “Super-Region” of F3 Jacksonville.  April 25th 2015, a group of men who became our brothers, hopped into a clown car in Columbia, SC and Charlotte, NC and welcomed them to F3 Nation.  It took some time, but the pax has grown through the years.  We’ve gone from 1 AO to 42 total beatdowns throughout the week, including 8 Saturday AOs.  While the growth is great, we hope our impact to our families, communities and wherever we are planted is even greater.  At any rate, as YHC mentioned previously, the pax descended upon Boondocks to celebrate the only way we know how- through a beawtdown.

The Thang I (Papa Smurf- a Beach Boy OG)

  • Tammy Wynettepartner exercise with each flip flopping 10 reps of exercises x 10 rounds
    • Merkins
    • Squats
  • Mini-Spartan
    • Sprint to opposite sideline and perform 10 merkins
    • Repeats until time called with a couple of backward runs mixed in to change it up a little

The Thang II (Jumanji- a Townie OG)

  • Switch partners for Mini-Dora 1-2-3
    • Burpees x50
    • Hand-Release Merkins x100
    • Iron Mikes x150
  • Iron Cross x25 f/b partner carry or wagon wheel 25 yards then flip flop

The Thang III (Eileen- another Townie OG, reminded the pax of the G3L- the basis of the Q-source.  If you haven’t read the book or participated in a Q-source, what are you waiting for- remember, this is more than a workout)

  • Four corners- pax split up based on birthdays and perform exercise at their cone, mosey to the center cone and perform 5 burpees then advance to next corner; 20 reps for first round, 18 for second; exercises included
    • Plank toe taps
    • X-factors
    • Heels-to-Heaven
    • American Hammers

COT/BOM (Extinguisher, Nan’tan of F3 River City)

Extinguisher closed us out asking the pax to imagine what they can accomplish if they push themselves just a little bit further than what they thought they could do.  To get right, we need to push ourselves to be fit, to strengthen and properly prioritize our concentrica, and recognize that we are not the center of the universe and we are made to serve. 

F3 Jacksonville incurred some loses since our last anniversary beatdown.  Scholls led the pax in prayer over and for Crotchless and the Bailey family as well as for Heisenberg and the McCrea family.  May Darth Nihilus (Ian) and Heisenberg (Jeff) rest in peace.

T-claps to the Fifty Cent and the pax of Boondocks for hosting; T-claps to the pax for their canned veggies and at least $350 donations to TRM; T-claps to our FNGs for making it through their first F3 beatdown; and T-claps to the pax of the Super Region of F3 Jacksonville for 8 years of doing the hard thing.  Keep taking the Daily Red Pill.  Aye!
