4 Pax posted at Wildwood today on a warm and muggy morning with plenty of no see ’ems to make the beatdown a little more challenging. Ponce and Depends both had to run for the head and make a deposit before getting started. Wise.

  • Descending rep ladders w/ Cindy x 8, 7, 6, 5, 4….. for each of  the following:
  • Squat Presses
  • Swings
  • Drivers
  • Merkins
  • In between each set, alternating between 20 yard bunny murderers and 20 yard bear crawls w/ cindy in tow. (i.e. – squat press x 8, 20 yard bunny murderer, squat press x 7, bear crawl w/ cindy back to start, squat press x 6, 20 yard bunny murderer, squat press x 5, bear crawl w/ cindy back to start…)

I recently came across a great definition for discipline: the ability to prioritize the needs of your future self ahead of your own. As such, in today’s message, the PAX focused on playing the long game in all facets of life. While the world preaches instant results and gratification, we grind each day – physically, mentally, relationally, spiritually – because we seek long-term, sustained growth. I asked the PAX, “what do you want your body to look like when your in your 50s and 60s?” Answer: D-Day :). Or, “what kind of husbands and fathers do we want to be for the long haul?” The work we put in now, the deposits we make today, will pay huge dividends later on.
