10 pax were posting in the air-conditioned outdoors of Asgard for the 3rd installment of the Fallen. T-Claps to Roddy, Mello and DNR who have completed all three of the first installments, and Third Eye who completed 3 of 4 but started with the Murph. Today it’s the Manion. Let’s go!

The Thang
The Manion: named after First Lt Travis Manion, USMC, 26, who died on April 29, 2007, while conducitn combat operations in Al Anbar province, Iraq. Lt. Manion twice exposed himself to the kill zone while under fire to rescue wounded soldiers. A true HIM whom we remembered by performing:
- 29 weighted squats
- 400-meter run
- 7 rounds
The pax were elated to hear that they completed the WOD before the end of the allotted time. They weren’t so happy to hear that YHC did have a contingency plan.

Awesome work by the pax today in crushing the Manion. YHC spoke of being thankful for the men who served and gave the ultimate sacrifice in order that we can do what we do- be free to workout in a local park to better ourselves and in turn, service others. We thanked and asked blessings for those that gave their lives and for their families who lost loved ones as a result of their sacrifice.

After the beatdown, the pax headed to the Memorial Wall for part 1 of the community clean-up morning.
