Twenty-one

6 pax posting in the gloom nervously anticipating what crazy concoction YHC came up with this time.  Gadot got a little anxious when he saw YHC pull out some cones, but gave a little sigh of relief that there were only two laid down in the parking lot of the Fleming Island Library.  YHC chuckled a little inside.  With the area secured and carefully set up, we began.

The Thang

Mosey to the Memorial Wall as YHC wanted the pax to see a flag flying over the wall for the first time in… a really long time.  The flag was a little small, but hey Old Glory was flying high. 

• 10 burpee salute and then mosey back to library parking lot

Once back to the parking lot, YHC made his great and anticipated reveal: Twenty-one! Just like 11’s but reps will add up to 21! 

• Run to opposite side of parking lot for 20 merkins, run back for 1 squat
• Run again and do 19 merkins and 2 squats
• Oh, and by the way, each time you run, at the mid-way point, do 3 burpees

The pax reminded YHC that it wasn’t January.  He may have been confused due to the cooler weather.  Message of the day is to keep showing up.  There will be days you may not want to for whatever excuse, but just show up.  You just don’t know who you are there to help.
