It was a great morning at The Gauntlet where 6 HIMs came together in the gloom to get better, one minute at a time.
Michael Phelps, Little Baby Arm Circles Forward/Backward, 5 count motivators, Rifle Carry Cindy from the flag to the baseball field concession area.
30 minute AMRAP consisting of various exercises for 1 full minute followed by 15 seconds of rest. Since we all worked hard YHC made the executive decision to change the final exercise to monkey humpers pointed at McFly since he was a few minutes late. No penalty burpees were enforced.
Keeping with the 1 minute theme we talked about how there are 1,440 minutes in each day. When you think about a minute, it goes by fast when you are doing something fun or easy, but when you are doing something hard like diamond merkins 1 minute can seem to last forever. We impressed on each other to use the remaining 1,000 or so minutes left in the day today for something good, and to make each minute count, as once they are gone you can’t get them back. Announcements included The Fallen coming up on Memorial Day, and canned food collection continuing for Trinity Rescue Mission. Keep Rainman’s M in your prayers.
