It was a cold, cold morning in the Badlands. That didn’t stop 7 brave souls from joining YHC for a run day. It is exciting to see the run day hold steady in the numbers department. There were run days early in the year with 2 people. The Nantan even showed up for what YHC feels was a surprise audit. I hope I passed.
The theme of the day was Obstacles. Our first obstacle of the day was the 210 bridge.
– Mosey to Gate to warm-up and stretch
– Limp Member, Toy Soldier, Hilbilly, and Reacher
– Mosey to the base of the bridge
– Mosey to east side of bridge, 25 merkins
– Mosey to west side of bridge, 25 LBCs
– Mosey back to east side of bridge, 25 merkins
– Mosey back to west side of bridge, 25 LBCs
– Mosey back to the flag
Everyone got in 4.25-4.5 miles with good bridge work.
Excellent work by Yard Sale!
When sad clowns hit obstacles, they turn around and go home. When HIMs hit obstacles they use them as an opportunity to get stronger and better.

2 Count it all joy, my brothers,[a] when you meet trials of various kinds, 3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. 4 And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing
