A true story of what transpired this morning at Anchor

This is what happened. I swear on a stack of pancakes….

No one signed up for Anchor…so YHC did and made up stuff hoping enough PAX read the warning to bring cinderblocks and jump ropes.

There were 4 FNG’s so there’s that.

Thang 1

There was a station for cinder block crap and a station for jump roping non-sense. Those stations were some unknown distance apart.

The PAX accepted the recommendation to split into two groups so everyone could have a turn. Sharing is caring.

Station 1- 3 burpees  followed by 15 goblet squats. Run to station 2

Station 2 3 burpees followed by 25 jumpie ropes. Run to station 1

We ran back and forth til we did it 4 times. You with me?

Next…

Station 1- 3 burpees  followed by 15 block presses.  ADD 1 BURPEE. Run to station 2

Station 2 3 burpees followed by 25 jumpie ropes. DD 1 BURPEE Run to station 1

We ran back and forth til we did it 4 times. Are we tracking here?

There was a ton of confusion in this and I’m not sure why….its really rather simple.

Partner 1 starts at the first lamppost and does the dang exercises while partner 2 runs willy nilly to the SECOND lamppost and back.

Once the joyful reunion is made, BOTH PAX run in tandem (together) to the THIRD lamppost where Partner 2 resumes the aforementioned exercises.

In theory the partners would traverse around the park. Ultimately this happened but with too much discussion. Simplifications will be made because I like this version.

Time was called and we reconvened for several rounds of Circle Burpees.

We then named the FNGS and did the rest of the stuff we needed to do.

SIDE NOTE: When Comrade was telling his life story he opened with “I stir my Quaker Oats with the barrel of a Smith and Wesson. I unconsciously took 3 steps back……Just sayin
