The Thang: 21 pax gathered at TACMO for an approx. 4 mile run over seven bridges and past one mission. The mission is Trinity Rescue Mission, the recipient of F3Jax’s outreach efforts and your donation destination for The Kraken. We ran seven bridges by crossing the Main St. bridge twice and then over the 5 bridges of Cancer Survivor’s Park. Except for one moment with a quick-turning truck, I almost got through a beatdown without trying to get anyone killed.
The Thought: Seven Bridges, One Mission. Dredd reminds us in QSource that we our individual mission is to live third. God first, family second, I am third. F3 teaches us that we are part of something larger than ourselves (faith) and that we are not the center of the universe (fellowship). Live Third.
Prayer and Pledge: Today we remembered those in our lives who are battling or who have successfully battled cancer. We named them in prayer.
