YHC was greeted by 18 Pax ready to take on the 1776 Patriot Games CSAUP! Also YHC’s 28th Wedding Anniversary! My M deserves sainthood for putting up with me all of these years! We are very blessed and have lots to be grateful for and to celebrate!
Back to the CSAUP. This definitely presented a challenge and some were concerned but hey…we have done worse! As Seneca said, “We suffer more in imagination than in reality.”
No time to warm up so we began with a mosey to the fields near the playground where we had the shovel flag and cones in position. After a quick review the Pax paired up and got after the following (splitting reps with exception of Left Turn #Beast):
100 of each – Merkins, LBCs, Moroccan Nightclubs, pull-ups, squats, mountain climbers, plank jacks, lunges, overhead claps, dips, leg scissors, step ups, American hammers, shoulder taps, high knees and of course side straddle hops which is a must for any F3 workout. The finisher was a 100 yard bear crawl ( all pax completed no spilt), 76 burpees and the run back to the circle with the flag to complete the 1.01 mile portion. Since Left Turn was doing 100 reps he was not yet completed which may be the first time he was ever last in his life! He still needed to complete his burpees which we did with him together along the run back for some extra credit! It was a steamy morning and all the pax were sweating profusely when we got back for the COT. We named FNG Klepto (Skid Mark’s Navy buddy) thanks to his theft of his roommates change (Skid Mark) to go out drinking and getting subsequently caught! Classic military story!
Pax got into a sweaty BOM and prayed for the Nation, all serving, holiday travel, guidance for adult children venturing into the world, ENC Bonet and family, Full Monty’s brother’s mother in law and for our brother Seatdown who is looking for a new job. We lift all these prayers up in Jesus name…Amen
Always grateful to lead! Happy 4th!
